Festive Deer Willow Weaving Workshop at Windermere Jetty Museum

Get into the festive spirit with a relaxing willow weaving workshop at Windermere Jetty Museum on Wednesday 16 December.Guided by the experienced team from Kendal-based Willowpool Designs, you’ll spend the day creating your own handmade willow deer decoration to take home and display during the festive season.Taking place in the Learning Centre, with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors looking out across Windermere towards the Coniston Fells, this 5-hour workshop offers the perfect opportunity to pause, make something by hand and enjoy a creative day beside the lake.This full day workshop is perfect for those looking for a solo creative day out or a festive activity to enjoy with friends or loved ones this December in the heart of the Lake District. This workshop is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to those with previous willow weaving experience.You can expect to leave feeling refreshed, inspired and ready for the rest of the festive season.All materials will be provided, with a £20 materials charge payable to the maker on the day. Due to the nature of the workshop, there’s only 25 spaces available.
