Arty Activities for October Half Term

We have some lovely free, arty activities at Abbot Hall this October Half Term.   Take a Texture Make rubbings of a variety of natural materials provided in the Cafe/Creative Space. What texture do you see? Does taking a rubbing make you see the object differently? Free self-led creative activity available in the Cafe/Creative Space.   Make a Leaf Creature When you look at a tree do you ever see a face in one of the leaves? Using a leaf as your base, make a woodland creature to join you on your next adventure. Free self-led creative activity available in the Cafe/Creative Space.   Texture Trail Thursday 29 October at 11am and 2pm. Join us on a Texture Trail to capture as many different textures as we can find outside the gallery. This trail will encourage us to look closer at our surroundings and find inspiration in the smallest places. Free facilitated trails starting from the Cafe/Creative Space.   Art Trail Available at the front desk for young visitors to follow through galleries. Follow Sully the Cat's new prompt on the Art Cart! Free with gallery admission.
