Blackwell Summer Holiday activities

Woven Wonders: Inspired by Blackwell’s ongoing exhibition, come along and learn to weave your very own Useful/Beautiful household items. Each week we will demonstrate a new way to make something you can treasure using familiar craft materials. Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.15pm-3.45pm. Craft and colour: Take a mindful moment to yourself in the Guild Room. Visitors are invited to contribute to our visitor sketchbooks, have a go at an Arts and Crafts inspired activity sheet, and add to the collaborative woven wall-hanging on our mini pop-up loom. Drop-in activities available in the Guild Room throughout the summer holidays. Motif Bingo: Can you find all the motifs hidden in the decorations around the house? Tick off each motif you find whilst exploring the hidden details of Blackwell. Available throughout the summer holidays. Trail sheets can be collected from the front desk. All activities are included with house admission.
